Joe Tenney, Richard Talbot, and Jon Buehner became acquainted in 1990, when they performed in the Gilbert Fine Arts Association’s (GFAA) excerpts from “Les Miserables.” The three sang together in the community’s presentation of the Messiah and several performances during the Christmas season of 1994. That was the beginning of a friendship in the truest sense. They also recognized that the TRIO brought an energy and harmony of spirit--3 voices that were "destined" to sing together. Although each is an artist individually, the three felt that their talents were, and still are, best expressed as a trio. After many requests, Jon, Richard, and Joe formed their group “Three 2U” and began working on their first album titled, “Three Kings.”The title track was the first song the group performed together.
